Must admit...

Well, I must admit that I look through other people's blogs and I get a bit disappointed when someone doesn't update each week, but I'm the worst at updating. It got to where I didn't have pictures so I didn't update. I still don't have pictures (lost my memory stick but that is another story) but figured I would do a bit of updating...

This summer has been crazy for us so far and we are still a couple of months out before being able to slow down. In July we were able to spend the 4th in San Angelo with Jarrod's family hanging out and relaxing. I think I took a 2 hour nap every day we were there...it was so relaxing. Later in the month we were able to head to Ruidoso for a family reunion with my Dad's side of the family. The weather was so nice, but we had been having the same temperatures here because of our rainy, cold front, weather. Still nice to get away and spend some time with the family. Last weekend we headed to south-west Oklahoma for a trip with some friends. Carley stayed with Nene and Popaw while Jarrod and I headed out. We were able to see several different frineds that we have not seen in a long time, very enjoyable. We laugh, even cried from laughing, rode horses, fished, visited, played games, and swam.
Over the next couple of months we are going to be heading to Alabama to visit with Jarrod's Dad's side of the family, I will attend a ladie's retreat, Permian Basin fair, then we will have Halloween, hunting season, Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's, and then a baby. I can't seem to find a slowing down point until about March of next year, but Lord willing God will allow us some relaxing time with friends and family.

Baby update: We went to the doctor a couple of weeks ago and everything is still going well. We have not decided if we are going to find out the sex of the baby this time around. Part of me doesn't want to know because clothes is all that we will need, but the other part of me wants to find out so I know if I need to start washing Carley's old clothes for hand-me-downs, or start shipping her clothes out after she outgrows them.

I think that is about all I can think of to say. Hopefully I will try to stay more up-to-date with the blog for the ones that live so far away.

Lots of love,

Feeling Better

Well, today is the13th week of pregnancy. For those of you asking...I have not been as sick this pregnancy but exhausted as all can get out. I was told yesterday that my color looks better so I guess that is encouraging to know. I don't remember being this tired with Carley, but I was so nauseous that I was in bed when I was not at work so I rested for the 1st three months out of necessity. Went to my second doctor's appointment on Friday and everything seems to be going well. Got to hear the heart beat for the first time (always so exciting no matter if you already have a child). Did some routine pregnancy blood work, but I have not received a phone call so I assume everything came out normal.

Just thought I would send out an update on the pregnancy status. Anyhow, hope everyone has a good week...

It's official...

Well, it's official...Carley is going to be a big sister around February 6th. No, we are not far enough along to find out what we are having, and haven't decided if we are going to find out what we are having (we didn't with Carley). Appointments are going well so far, I will try to keep you posted on the progress, though I know I have failed to keep updates current thus far.

Enjoy the week,

"Poop"

Well, we may be moving in the direction of potty training soon...here lately Carley will say "poop" then touch her bottom. We then will soon notice a stinch in the room, from her shortly pooping her pants afterwards. Last night she said "poop" so asked her if she wanted to go potty and she shook her head yes so off we went. I took off her diaper and set her up on the big potty and she just sat there. (We could not find the camera fast enough so we will have to re-enact it.) She never did anything, but I was so excited to know we are moving in the right direction. I'm ready to go get her a potty chair so that she can sit there without having a death grip on me because she doesn't want to fall in.

I have not posted her stats from our 2 year visit because I took my sheet home and I don't remember what they were. I know she is growing so that was the good part. I will try to bring them to work tomorrow.

Until next time,
Us

Hello?

Well, I have finally returned. I did not realize how long it has been until Jarrod asked when the last time I updated the blog was. Well, to fill you in on some gaps...

We are doing well, Carley is getting big, and life is passing faster and faster with each day. Carley will be 2 this coming Wednesday. We went and had some pictures done and let me just say that they will have my business in the future! We went to Portrait Innovations and I would recommend them to anyone. I'm not going to compare to anyone else because we had a really bad experience at another place. Anyhow, they do $9.99 package + they are cheaper on other packages and you get your pictures 20 minutes after you select them. Well worth your money and time. Okay, now that I'm off that kick...Carley LOVES to play outside. I think that is her biggest fits are because we don't want to go outside, but she does. She is currently sick with a cold, which has also turned into an ear infection, but she seems to be doing better since she was started on some medicine. Since I have not posted anything in so long my mind is going faster than my fingers so I'm going to go ahead and apologize for the hodge podge going on. I'm going to stop typing and start posting some pictures from our session. Enjoy...
(This is not looking like it was supposed to, but I'm sending it anyways. If I can figure out why it is all messed up, I may, or may not, be back here.)
Love to you all...

What we've been up to...

Since the last post we have had Halloween and Thanksgiving and we are now getting ready for Christmas.
We didn't do much for Halloween this year as we were out in the middle of no where visiting with family from out of state. Jarrod's great-uncle died and so the funeral was on the 31st in Cherokee. Carley was able to do some trick-or-treating at the daycare but that was about the extent of our October. We never even made it to her day care's pumpkin patch so I don't have those pictures to share.
November is the month of Thanksgiving, well, and the start of deer hunting. I think Jarrod ended up at the ranch for 3 out of the 4 weekends in November while Carley, Jersey, and I headed the opposite direction to go stay with my parents every weekend except for Thanksgiving. 4 hour trips are harder on me than on it is Carley with her sleep schedule. For Thanksgiving, we headed to the ranch for a visit with Jarrod's Mom's side and some family from Alabama. Some of Jarrod's family from south Texas were able to make it so Carley had fun with lots of girl cousins.
Also, during this month I took Carley in for a well visit and shots....yes, she got the regular flu shot and the swine flu shot. We are 1/2 way vaccinated as I have to go back this month (Dec 10th) to get round 2. Also found out that we don't have to have any more shots till she is 4!!! YEAH!!! She will still continue to have her annual visit but no more going back every 3 months! Large victory in our books as the visits take about 2 hours...that is a LONG time to keep a toddler entertained in a small room.
December is here and nearly almost 1/2 way gone. I have been mostly done with Christmas shopping for about a month or 2 now so I'm enjoying the holiday atmosphere again this year. It is so much more relaxing when the shopping is done and you can just enjoy the people (well, most of them). So far this month we have experienced snow, which I actually got to stay home for the whole day with Carley and 2 days later we now have wind blowing (last I heard) about 60 mph. That is a bit windy, but we are managing. I will try to get pictures uploaded soon as I'm trying to sort through some pictures to send out.
We are gearing up for another busy Christmas week as we will be traveling again this year as we have always done in the past. The only day of the year where we can end up at 3 towns for Christmas, to be able to visit with family, and actually enjoy the day. Don't get me wrong, we are worn out by the time we get to bed but we thoroughly enjoy getting to visit with so many families during the day.
Well, that is what we have been doing...staying busy and trying to take in every day. Hope everyone is well and enjoying life.
Love to you all!!! Hutchinson crew
